The brecciated road is a popular forest and continues almost flat to the Rifugio Locatelli.
The views of Cadini di Misurina mountain is really very pleasant.

At the top of the fork lavaredo we are at 2454m and we are on the north, in the Trentino. From this position you will understand better why they are called "Three" peaks and offers a splendid view on many peaks as the Croda Rossa, Monte Paterno, Torre del Toblin, Marmolada and many others.

But first let's go behind the refuge and we take a nice group photo
Let's go back to the shelter and take the locatelli Innerkofler path and we enter into the tunnel excavated during World War II.
Inside the galleries it is very useful to have a headlamp and makes chilly so I suggest to wear more clothes.
It climbs steep stairs and you will enjoy the views of the three peaks.
It rooms of very steep stairs and at a certain point is tova a dam, on the left begins the attack of Ferrata Innerkofler, with a lot of plaque.
The ferrata is not difficult but it is very scenic.
The view is amazing
After the Forcella del Camoscio, being very busy, one must keep the railroad right to ascend and return it comes down from the left side.
And at the end of this beautiful furnished path to get to the summit of Monte Paterno to 2744m and the view pays off for the climb
A return takes the Ferrata line in the other direction and returns to the Forcella del Camoscio.
Go past the path from which we climbed and on the right, a steep descent on whose board to pay close attention, you walk towards the Lavaredo.
Going for a simple ferrata, you get back on the Monte Paterno.
The trail is exposed and sometimes without protection, but not a problem.
It returns to the Forcella Lavaredo and return to the path 101.
